My side family fun

We spent 3 days with my family. We had bbq's, laughs, yellowstone, water fights, the temple, and ended it with the rodeo!
Man we had some serious fun!

This awesome bird stopped to pose for all the cameras. Payton liked it.
Payton's strong muscles and his harness. I seriously thought I was going to have a heart attack a few times. Any stops we made that had HUGE drop offs he had to wear this and one of the spots we didn't even let him walk:/
We love this tree! This is all but 3 grandkids. So cool.

Hayden praying for Payton's safety I'm sure;)
OLD FAITHFUL! she's not so faithful anymore;) but still a must anytime we go to the park.

Aww! I actually love this picture.

Yep I am holding his 'leash'! We got lots of looks, but I came away with all my kids so I say look all you want all you people with perfect children:)

hahahahah I'm still laughing at this. OHhhhhhh so funny. Perfect position to turn into a 'I got caught' picture. He totally has his swimsuit on!
So handsome. Oh p.s. this kid hates rodeos. He was so BORED! If that doesn't explain a lot then you don't know Payton;) He just stared at his slushy and kept asking if we could go home! He also asked where the buffalo were;)
Gettin' a better look and they sure did along with some dirt in the face when the riders came around;)

 Love it!
 Such Cheesers
 Always modeling I swear!
We love to cowboy up a little for the rodeo!
 Did I mention Payton(and I) got buffalo!
I LOVE buffalo aka tatonka:) I don't know why but I can't get enough.
In yellowstone we didn't see very many(which is weird bc that is usually the only animal you do see) well let's just say when it came to animal sightings I felt totally jipped. I could watch a herd of those tatonka all day!
Horse lady (first woman to do so) that would go up first then the buffalo followed!
AMAZING! So totally the highlight of the rodeo for me and Payton!

Summer is Over... this is what we did!

We had a pretty good SHORT summer! I say short because I was in school for the whole month of June and into the first week of July but I tested the end of July so we had the last week of July and August to play.
and PLAY... we did!
We had both sides of the the family get togethers.
This is Ryan's side.
We spent it in beautiful Utah in the Uintahs. It was SO MUCH FUN! Ryan's mom always puts so much work into these campouts. She planned a family Olympics(with the summer olympics this year) and we had activities that we earned points for all week long and earned medals at the end of the week.
She even made a huge "dragon" human float. The kids and adults walked around the campgrounds making the dragon dance while I drove behind with the Olympic theme song blasting for all to hear! It was awesome. The kids loved it.

I (totally being a brat) told Ryan if he didn't fix the A/C and get me a new tent I wouldn't go:)  hahah I got my way and it made for the best camping trip yet.  The drive was more than pleasant and the tent had all the space I wanted it to have. I was a happy spoiled wife/momma!

Pictures of the week!

Reag, Gav, Hayden in our awesome GREEN tent.
Pate just waking up... happy to boot;)
Hayden trying daddies head lamp out.
It sprinkled a few time so the boys got to sport their cruise gear! They are so cute.
Hayden being adventurous climbing big boulders. It wasn't nervous at all:/
 BEAUTIFUL!!
Ryan's view of our canoe ride
Ry, Bran, Gav and Pate canoeing! Again I wasn't nervous at all. (I really don't enjoy canoeing when it is just Ry and I then we add to boys that can't sit still) It was better than I thought but I still don't enjoy it. It's all for memory sake and my kids know I will do things with and for them I am not fond of or make me nervous;) I learned that from my awesome CHIQUITA momma;)
Another beautiful view. I believe this is Bald Mountain.
My view of our canoe ride!
Our cute nephew! This I believe was his first taste of red licorice! He obviously loved it;)
Rumplestilskin always makes a surprise visit. He hides toys around our campground and the kids love it!
 Mirror Lake
We had kayake races(olympics). It was so much fun!
Hayden being awesome:)

Summer is finally here and it's gonna be a HOT ONE!

So summer is here and I am excited about it but not as excited as the kids. I am strating school next monday and I'm starting to freak out a little. I am so dang nervous... I have to commute a ways 4 days a week so I am hoping soemone else has the same commute as me and then we won't have to be alone. I am also nervous because I am NOT, let me repeat that I AM NOT IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM an early riser. Infact it is safe to say that the whole family seems happier the longer I sleep in:) I am not fond of this bad habit and will have to face it head on for 4 weeks and I am very stressed out about it. I will probably lose sleep worrying about waking up in time to leave and be to class by 8. Did I mention I have to drive 45 miles each way 4 days a week. That means I have to have my grumpy lazy no good morning butt out of bed at 6a.m.!!!!! I have only ever been happy about that time of day when I knew I was about to push a baby out:) I am also pretty sure I have bitten off a little more than I can chew this summer... I am running a 10k the saturday after school starts, then continuing my triathamom training and have to fit in 2 family reunions as well as finsihing out my Psych 101 web course that ends in August. I may not live to see school start:) I am excited about everything we have going... I just have to remember to focus and breathe! Here's to a fun-filled VERY eventful summer!

Kindergarten Graduation

Gavin finished his Kindergarten year and he loved every second of it.  In fact when all was said and done he started to cry when we left the classroom.  He told me he was going to miss his teacher!
I told him go give her a big hug maybe that will help... well it helped but he cried a little when he hugged her then she started to cry and told Gavin if we were ever near her home to call and she would come meet up with us so she could play and see Gavin.  She has been a great teacher through all of Gavins medical trials this year I am so grateful we had her:)!!!!
