Ok long time since I've posted anything. Since we moved into this house, I've been so busy going around and prettying things up and fixing little things here and there that I haven't had time for anything else practically. It's so much fun though. I feel like my Grandpa Wassom that passed away a few years ago. I remember when he was alive, he was ALWAYS puttering around fixing things. He was so handy, and I guess his spirit is now with me and affecting me in a way that plants that innate desire to putter around as well and fix things. I really enjoy it though. This is my latest project since we had no shed to put our mower and other outdoor tools that I decided to build it myself. I'm pretty proud of the way it turned out, given the fact that I've never done anything like this before. And the hay bale is to hold it down til I get some rope to use as tiedowns. Thanks Grandpa for your fix-it and build-it-yourself gene! Now, all I need is some duct tape.....

Quick Update!
First off in church yesterday a little girl got up to bear her testimony and said "I am thankful for the prophet Barack Obama!" yes you read that right. I missed it but Ryan said no one did anything. Not a sound, he thinks everyone was to shocked to react. LOL! so funny!
Second you know we all have to pick our noses sometime or another when the tissue just won't cut it. Well that being said I cut all my kids finger nails and toe nails last week and Reagan made me very aware that she was bugged that I had cut them when she stated "Gosh mom I can't pick my nose b/c someone cut my fingernails!" I just laughed out loud by myself. Luckily she cleans up with a tissue after the picking occurs (that is when she can pick) and also has NEVER eaten them! I hope that never happens, gross!

THE NEW ME!
So what do you think? I have to say this is the first time going into a salon that I have left SUPER HAPPY! I just had to do it, I could not wait any longer for this change. Thanks honey for giving me this time away to feel renewed. (Oh and my hair smells a...maz...ing! Don't you love that after salon smell and feel, I DO!)

CLEAN UP ON AISLE 8 PLEASE!!
OH MY GOSH! My heading is no joke. We went shopping today... (okay let me back up a bit. Payton barfed all over me and the floor and the counter tops last Friday and then I felt a bit sick myself that night through the weekend and finally last night I felt pretty good. Well Ryan got sick yesterday and made it through a half day of work today and then he felt better tonight. So it seems to be a 12-24 hour thing and Ry nor I have thrown up with this.) So we go shopping tonight and Reagan says her tummy is upset and I think nothing of it b/c dinner is just around the corner, so we continue strolling through Wal-Mart. Reagan & I run into a sweet girlfriend of mine from high school, we were chatting and Reagan is acting a bit weird again. She then says to Heather "I feel fine now." She gets down and starts to do her usual hopping, skipping, dancing around. I look down and she is covering her mouth and then... you guessed it she barfed in her hand and on the floor. So we get that cleaned up and try to finish grabbing a few things on our way to the check out. Ry and I decided I would take Payton and Reag out to the car and wait for them so she would not barf in public anymore... well you guessed it again she barfed and barfed and barfed on our way out in front of the bank in the fruit bag I had grabbed earlier to put apples in but decided there was not time so it turned into our portable barf bag. (it worked:)) Some workers from our bank ran over to us and helped with Payton and helped clean Reag up too. I could have cried right there. They did not have to do any of that but they did. One of the girls was wiping Reagan's mouth (she is not married, no kids;) so I thought she might have had a hard time with it but she jumped right in and another one of the dudes even took the baby for me, walked to the bathroom and then walked us out to the car while Ry and Gav finished checking out. It was such an amazing service experience. I am grateful for her barfing this time if that does not sound to rude. It made me realize there are good people all around us and we were served with love and compassion. SHE IS STILL BARFING AS WE SPEAK BUT IT WILL COME TO AN END. I am just holding out for Gav to be the only one not to get it. Cross your fingers for us!

UPDATE, UPDATE, READ ALL ABOUT IT!
I have been a slacker on blogging and still can't find my camera cord from the move! RRRRRR! I have yet to ask Ry and he probably knows right where it is;) anyways first things first, BOBI THIS PICTURE IS FOR YOU. I had Reagan choose a # between 1-69 (that's how many picture folders I have) She chose folder 39 and then I chose pic #13! HERE YOU GO. It's Gav at Melisa and Jeff's reception. funny! ALSO BOBI IS HAVING A CRAYON ROLL GIVEAWAY! SO CUTE! head over now to have a shot at it.

Okay moving along. Reagan spent the weekend with Ryan's parents, Melissa, Jon, and Jax(the dog) and got to meet Amy and Jake's new puppy Kya and she is cute. She was gone from Friday to Sunday ALL BY HERSELF and she had a blast. She went shopping w/Grandma and Melissa and got a really pretty new dress. She also went to McDonald's and got a cute toy that rolls around and yeah that's pretty much all it does. My parents went to see my sister in a play and drove Reag down, dropped her off and picked her up Sunday where she got to see Melisa at breakfast! I missed her cute little butt! She is so sweet and she is a big helper. I'm glad she got to go but I am so so glad she is home! I know she was in good hands!
Okay no for some super exciting news!! I have been listening to KLCE and (as we all know if you listen) they are doing DISNEYLAND OR DOLLARS this year and I have been trying to get through for 2 weeks. I got through last week at my mom's but I was caller #6 and you need to be #7 :( dang it so close. Well I have been feeling a bit sick the last couple of days and decided that today I didn't care if I listened for the sound of the day (which by the way was Mator from Cars saying "That was Fun!" or called in today. I had just gone upstairs to make the kids lunch and decided to turn the radio on for something to listen to and not even 30 seconds later the sound of the day came on and I thought "oh why not, I will just dial and see." I know I would not get through even with my cell phone and home phone dialing for double the chances.... when all of a sudden one of the phones was ringing through and I thought "holy crap, it's ringing! don't get over excited Brandi your caller #6 again." Liza picked up and said..."Hello your caller #7!!" Remember I had not been feeling well (which bytheway I explained to her off air) so I did not sound as excited as I should have but OH MY GOSH-I got through and now I am qualified for the DISNEYLAND OR DOLLARS drawing happening this Friday between 7-8am so be listening for my NAME. We all need to think positive and hopefully it will be our week! Have a good week!
Oh yeah I start my 21 day trial workout program at Snap Fitness tomorrow. I am going to take my measurements tonight and then again when I am done May 9th to see how much I did. I am excited!

EASTER
Okay I finally got a minute to sit down and catch up on our Easter and went to plug in my camera, well I can't find my cord so I will add pictures later.
On Saturday we had some fun coloring eggs. (nothing like yours bob;) but the kids enjoyed it. We tried the GLITTER kit this year and I don't recommend it. WHAT A MESS!
and it did not work the way they tell you to do it. We got it to work our own way!
Then on Sunday we had Jake, Cristie, Danielle, Cameron and kids over for an Easter Egg Hunt, it was fun. The kids are cute and so funny. Oh and we still have one egg missing.(I know gross) Jake and Ryan hid them and could not remember where they hid them all. Gross! oh well. As the hunt ended Jake's family took off to the other Grandparents house for Easter this year and we all stayed at my house for EASTER DINNER! We had my Grandma and Grandpa O over. They are awesome. We had a time, great food and enjoyed being together. Family is so important. I am so blessed to have tons of family real close and Ry's family not to far away. I always think that somewhere probably closer than we think there is someone all alone celebrating Easter or not even able to do that. With no family around. I can't imagine holidays without family. Anyways, I am very glad to have a family that rocks and is so close.
I am also very grateful to my Savior for his sacrifice in my behalf. It makes me want to be a better person, that way maybe I saved a bit of suffering from him. It's weird I know but it makes sense to me and it works in my head. LOL:) I hope you all had a FANTASTIC EASTER AND MAY WE CONTINUE TO REMEMBER OUR SAVIOR IN ALL THINGS!

CRUCIAL REMINDER TIPS FOR ALL!
THIS IS A BIT LONG BUT SO SO IMPORTANT FOR ALL! FEEL FREE TO COPY THIS AND EMAIL IT TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY!!
Because of recent abductions in daylight hours, refresh yourself of these things to do in an emergency situation...
This is for you, and for you to share with your wife, your children, everyone you know.
After reading these 9 crucial tips, forward them to someone you care about. It never hurts to be careful in this crazy world we live in.
1. Tip from Tae Kwon Do :
The elbow is the strongest point on your body. If you are close enough to use it, do!
2. Learned this from a tourist guide in New Orleans: If a robber asks for your wallet and/or purse, DO NOT HAND IT TO HIM.
Toss it away from you..... chances are that he is more interested in your wallet and/or purse than you, and he will go for the wallet/purse.
RUN LIKE MAD IN THE OTHER DIRECTION!
3. If you are ever thrown into the trunk of a car, kick out the back tail lights and stick your arm out the hole and start waving like crazy. The driver won't see you, but everybody else will. This has saved lives.
4. Women have a tendency to get into their cars after shopping, eating, working, etc., and just sit (doing their checkbook, or making a list, etc. DON'T DO THIS!) The predator will be watching you, and this is the perfect opportunity for him to get in
on the passenger side, put a gun to your head, and tell you where to go. AS SOON AS YOU GET INTO YOUR CAR, LOCK THE DOORS AND LEAVE... If someone is in the car with a gun to your head DO NOT DRIVE OFF, repeat: DO NOT DRIVE OFF! Instead
gun the engine and speed into anything, wrecking the car. Your Air Bag will save you. If the person is in the back seat they will get the worst of it. As soon as the car crashes bail out and run. It is better than having them find your body in a remote location.
5. A few notes about getting into your car in a parking lot, or parking garage:
A.) Be aware: look around you, look into your car, at the passenger side floor, and in the back seat
B.) If you are parked next to a big van, enter your car from the passenger door... Most serial killers attack their victims by pulling them into their vans while the women are attempting to get into their cars.
C.) Look at the car parked on the driver's side of your vehicle, and the passenger side... If a male is sitting alone in the seat nearest your car, you may want to walk back into the mall, or work, and get a guard/policeman to walk you back out.
IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY. (And better paranoid than dead.)
6. ALWAYS take the elevator instead of the stairs. (Stairwells are horrible places to be alone and the perfect crime spot. This is especially true at NIGHT!)
7. If the predator has a gun and you are not under his control, ALWAYS RUN! The predator will only hit you (a running target) 4
in 100 times; And even then, it most likely WILL NOT be a vital organ. RUN, Preferably in a zig -zag pattern!
8. As women, we are always trying to be sympathetic: STOP It may get you raped, or killed. Ted Bundy, the serial killer, was a good-looking, well educated man, who ALWAYS played on the sympathies of unsuspecting women. He walked with a cane, or a limp, and often asked 'for help' into his vehicle or with his vehicle, which is when he abducted his next victim.
9. Another Safety Point: Someone just told me that her friend heard a crying baby on her porch the night before last, and she called the police because it was late and she thought it was weird. The police told her 'Whatever you do, DO NOT open the door.' The lady then said that it sounded like the baby had crawled near a window, and she was worried that it would crawl to the street and get run over. The policeman said, 'We already have a unit on the way, whatever you do, DO NOT open the door. 'He told her that they think a serial killer has a baby's cry recorded and uses it to coax women out of their homes thinking that someone dropped off a baby he said they have not verified it, but have had several calls by women saying that they hear baby's cries outside their doors when they're home alone at night.
Please pass this on and DO NOT open the door for a crying baby ---- This e-mail should probably be taken seriously because
the Crying Baby theory was mentioned on America's Most Wanted this past Saturday when they profiled the serial killer in Louisiana!

Leave Of Absence is over!!!
We are in! As our realtor put it we are now "legally and lawfully homeowners!" SCARY! We are almost out of boxes. Just the kids closets and our closet need organized. We will get some pictures taken so you can all see how it looks different with our stuff in it rather than just the empty dark pictures from before. Don't hold your breath, remember I do have a basement to keep clean along with upstairs now;)
