Kindergarten Graduation

Gavin finished his Kindergarten year and he loved every second of it.  In fact when all was said and done he started to cry when we left the classroom.  He told me he was going to miss his teacher!
I told him go give her a big hug maybe that will help... well it helped but he cried a little when he hugged her then she started to cry and told Gavin if we were ever near her home to call and she would come meet up with us so she could play and see Gavin.  She has been a great teacher through all of Gavins medical trials this year I am so grateful we had her:)!!!!

Happenings during surgery!

Gavin with his amazing attitude waiting to go back for surgery prep:)
Ryan trying to get comfy while Gavin is in surgery. I am on the other side doing the same thing;)
He asked for me immediately when he woke! Then he asked to see the "yucky stuff" that they took out of him :)
He didn't want to move much yet but wanted to see his belly so I took a picture to show him.
His body temp was taking its time getting back to normal so we snuggle him like a little eskimo:)
After he talked the nurses ear off, got some apple juice and a slushy this little guy was out like a light again.
The next morning he was up and going like "normal" with his awesome nurse Pam.
My sister and her kids came to see us and Gavin had to take them to the toy room. They remembered from last September and had a great time.
We always need a picture of him and his special blanket a sweet lady in our ward made for him back in September. It always goes to PCMC with him.
We grabbed ice cream cones and corn dogs for the kids on our way out to go home.
This is Alina and Gavin loves her.  She was a nurse for Gavin in September so it was fun having her again. He actually made me take him back up to his room to give her a hug because he had forgotten and he always hugs his nurses bye:)
We have awesome family that let us stay with them to help shorten the trip. He had a good time with more cute cousins.
One last stop with an ice cream cone to head home. (I forgot my jacket so we had to swing by on our way through and this leads to an amazing story soon to come)
