BABY UPDATE!!

I know I said I was going to update about our trip but I'm putting a little longer hold on that to update about the baby!
I have been going in once a month for 4 months now to get ultra sounds and monitor the babies growth and up until today all has been GREAT! Today we went in as usual but left with a bit more monitoring to do... My placenta (once again) somewhere between weeks 31 and 35 it starts to give up and it is beginning to delay the babies growth! He took a dramatic decrease in size and growth this time. What happens is when my placenta starts to calcify the blood flow slows way down and the baby decides to send the blood it is getting to the brain for continued development and stops sending blood to the other parts of the body that don't necessarily need it as bad but does slow the baby down. He is measuring in the 15% as of today! I have to go in 2x next week for Non-stress tests and some other tests that monitor the placenta and baby again and repeat this the next week where I will see the specialist with a full ultra sound and if the measurements come to 10% or less the doc says he will send me to delivery to have our baby!!! So May 5th could be the day. I am not holding my breath that is will happen (although it's a HIGH possibility) but at the same time we are using it as a goal date to have last minute baby stuff done!
Otherwise the baby looks great (just like the other kids) he is so cute, I am doing great! I am supposed to continue doing as I am but NO EXTRA ANYTHING!
Wish me luck and maybe I will be posting baby pics before I get around to YELLOWSTONE;)

Be Thankful for Our Jobs!!!

Python catcher in Africa ...

First, we wrap our arm in a skin for protection..
Then we crawl in the pit.
We use modern lighting.
There it is.
Those must be eggs.
I let it take my protected arm. Sort of like noodling for fish.
Then my buddy pulls me out with snake attached.
Ain't it a beaut?
It'll feed the village for a while!
And you think your work is tough...
Better thank God and keep on working!

ANOTHER WE'RE ALIVE...

We spent all SPRING BREAK indoors! WHY, you ask??? Not weather, although that was not the greatest either;) We were SICK. Yep that's right! Payton on Monday, Reagan on Tuesday, no one Wednesday, Mom Wednesday night & Thursday, Reagan, Mom, & Payton on Thursday, and finally through the weekend RYAN!! That's our spring break for ya! Gav had nasty burps but that's it. I am thankful for that.
I am also so grateful for conference. What an amazing session! I am reminded of what I need to work on but this time I felt good about where my family is. I also felt a bit nervous about the future but at the same time coming from the prophets I felt so much hope and encouragement. The kids sat pretty well, the best they have. I had some Bingo conference coloring sheets for them and I will do that again!!;)
We spent Easter quiet at home and the spirit of the day and enjoyed our family! We didn't even do baskets! By the time I got to the store after the week we had, I just loaded the cart with candy and went home. The kids had a small but super fun Easter Egg Hunt and didn't even miss all the other "stuff" that is usually part of it. I am so grateful for my family. I love my kids! I am so in love with my husband;)
I also feel so blessed to have the Savior in my home and in my heart!
Happy Late Easter to you all and I hope we can all strive to fill our homes & hearts with the Saviors love!
