Reagans Swim Day!!!

Reagan had 2 swim days this past week which had me breathing in a brown paper bag. I am so nervous about my kids swimming when Ry and I are with them so to let her go was a HUGE deal! Something I needed to overcome;) Well the first day I kept watching the clock bc I knew what time she should have been getting back to school! That time past and no phone call so she must have lived through it (I barely did)!!!! Anyways, she gets home from school and I asked her right away how swimming went and this is what she said "Mom it was so fun, I had a blast, but I almost drowned!" Can you imagine what I felt at that moment;) then she says "but Aspen saved my life!" again I am thinking OH I AM SO GLAD THAT YOUR 6 YEAR OLD FRIEND SAVED YOUR LIFE! Needless to say I was sick to my stomach but we did all live through it. She begged me to go the next day and knowing the 1st days experience I really wanted to make sure I was there but did I really?! So I told her I'm not sure I will make it bc I didn't want to have to drag the boys along and make them sit there and not jump in! Well I had to go and she had a blast and I had a blast watching her. She is getting so big and she is so funny to watch with all her little friends! I got some videos and pictures of her too;)

Reagan and Arora (they are trouble makers in class)

SO SILLY
WE WERE UP IN THE WINDOW SECTION FOR A BIT SO NOT AS MUCH CLARITY!

The Fabulous, The Cute, and The Seriously Ugly!!

FIRST...THE FABULOUS!
Reagan got a new swim suit and it's super cute!
and she is perfecting her criss-cross jump-roping skills!

SECOND...THE CUTE!
Reagan got a desk and she is loving it so much she even got comfy enough to take a nap on it:) She is always cracking me up!
LAST...THE SERIOUSLY UGLY!
Ok-like the title says T.F.T.C. & T.S.U.!!! It's not an understatement! Today has been a mixture of emotions! I am sad to say that we had to get rid of our puppy Jett today. Ry and I decided something needed to go and unfortunately the dog was #1! He was not getting played with enough and Ryan's hours have been cut back so financially we needed to lose something out of our budget. (Dog food, Dog toys, Dog treats, THE VET, etc...) and with the new baby coming we decided I just can't take care of the dog and 4 kiddos. It has not been the funnest afternoon around here. Crying kids (and husband) and I did a little myself! Gav would just look at me with his huge eyes and say "mom, but I love Jett!" yeah I pretty much could not look at him for a minute. Reagan was upset too! Payton doesn't care, or I guess doesn't get it! BUT... when we pulled into the Humane Society Ry went in first to check it out and a couple was standing at the desk waiting to look at dogs. They have a 2 yr. old german shepard that they claim has A.D.D. and wants a friend dog for him. Well they walked out with Ryan and took a look at Jett (who also has A.D.D.had us follow them to meet their dog and see if the two got along and the blessed good news is... they did! So after all the emotion of thinking we were going to have to leave him to a kennel most of the day he got a home right away. They were super nice and really took to Jett! Personally that helped with the good-bye. They are local so we could possibly spot the two dogs sometime;)

the pictures below are last timers with Jett...:(

Gavin loved Jett, they wrestled all the time, that is so sad to think about;( I am however not going to miss Jett humping poor Gav when he would try to swing on the swingset or like the kids like to call it the "doggy dance!"

NOTICE GAVIN'S FACE. WE CALL IT THE UMM FACE! HE GETS IT WHEN HE IS REALLY EXCITED OR ENJOYING WHAT IS GOING ON! (it's kindof like when you are holding a new baby and that feeling of 'holy crap you are so cute that i could squeeze your guts out' comes over you!)
AND THE HOLY CRAP BRANDI IS HUGE PICTURE! It's a really good thing I have my sweet sunglasses on to cover up the slits in my face we like to call eyes!
So there you have it! The F, The C, and The S.U. post! We all will be fine! The kids are young so hopefully they won't hold this against us for the rest of our lives!

What a goofy girl!

I got on to take my 31 week belly shot and noticed there was a ton of pictures of Reagan! It's before her haircut even. I had to share. She is so funny! She is real good at using the computer;)

HOME!!

Ryan and I have always talked about our future and where we would maybe end up and Idaho was not it for him! Well, since we bought our home we have said let's live here for 5 years or so, love it, add a few things(like a garage, rain gutters, a shed) and then sell it, earn some equity and move back to Logan (or wherever he got into) for school and then we would see from there whether we would end up there or move for a job. Which I was up for, I am in a place where I have come to realize my family is 1st and always will be even if it means not being close to family all the time, Ry and I are in charge of our lives and family unit and we would rock wherever we ended up. (Logan is beautiful... I loved the close camping, quick canyon hot dog roasts and smores runs with our amazing friends and we felt it to be a safe place to raise a family!)... Well I am glad to say Ry loves Idaho, he loves the hunting, he ADORES his elementary PSR job and having a place to call home! He said "I don't plan on going anywhere, or moving again, unless (knock on wood) something happened with work that took us somewhere else!"(We all know things can change on a dime, so pray hard that we can continue to be blessed with work) That makes me so excited to be able to feel that we really may be "home" for good. I LOVE LOVE LOVE watching Ryan leave every day happy to go to work, do things outside of his job description because he loves the school and "family atmosphere" (like playing the piano for the school Christmas program and the school play) He loves the people he works with! He has waited for this for a long time!! We also have family here that is super close in distance and close as in "close" (make sense!) So that is a bonus but we think we really have found our home! We love it here and love raising our kids in a safe and happy place. I am also so grateful to have family around for my kids. I grew up with cousins around and now being all growed up I have a life-long "sister"! We no longer consider ourselves cousins;) I have wanted that for my kids. I am so glad my kids are close friends with cousins. It's so fun to see them developing life-long friendships even amidst the quarreling;)
So... here's to feeling peace and loving where we are in life and home. I feel so blessed to be where we are in life and wish the best for everyone else too!

Birthday's and Picture Catch Up!!

Reagan built this all by herself and took a pic of it too!

March is a BIG Birthday month for our family! My sister, Ryan, Payton, my dad & my cousin. We have a few months in the year that this happens. If it is not a busy birthday month then it's shared birthdays. We have lots of those too;) Makes for loads of fun!
Ryan turned 31! He is so fun! The kids and I took lunch, a bouquet of ballOOns and his fave carrot cake out to his school and surprised him on his B-day! It was so much fun, he loved it. I also took him out that night to Alice in Wonderland (3-D) and then dinner after Blue Hashi -so he got sushi, also a fave of his. (Thanks Donner for putting the kids to bed so we could go out!) I think he had a good day! I love him so much and I am so excited to share and celebrate 31+ more birthdays with him!
Payton turned 2! I cannot believe he is so big. I really feel like we barely go done cleaning him up from destroying his FIRST b-day cake! Time flies so fast! He got a bouncy ball that he loves to kick and throw and knock everything down of my piano but who was asking about that:) and he got a cute little golf set. 3 clubs and balls and it even comes with the bag that he can drag down the green! He loves it! Grandma and Grandpa W. sent him some cute clothes too! Thanks guys! ;)
My sister turned 25! She and I are only 16 months apart, I am so glad we have a good relationship! She is so awesome. She is a good example to me and I am so amazed at watching her go through her LAST 9 MON THS of school with a hubby and 2 crazy monkey's at her side. I hope to someday be a mommy that made it through school!
It was fun celebrating all 3 birthdays together!
THE BIRTHDAY BOYS AND GIRL;)
THE DELICIOUS GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE! Donner and Ry both love this, so do I and Payton doesn't care yet;) It was tasty!
The family waiting for yummy cake!

Reagan got ahold of the camera, what a silly girl!
Ry getting ready to let the bird out of our fire place! this time he stood behind the door instead of in front of it. The last bird that did this flew out straight at his face and he fell flat on his back! Of course I did not have the camera that time and of course it wouldn't happen again bc I was prepared this time! I do however have a clip of him letting it out and I yelled at him for letting the dog chase the bird in the house;) but it got away and all is well!
THE SCARED BIRD!
The boys posing with the bird in the fireplace!

A few videos of Payton playing with b-day toys! none of them are over a minute!
